Flag Football was established in Manitoba in 2002 and has been
one of the fastest growing sports in Manitoba. This is a city
wide community based program for boys and girls from ages 7 to
17. Flag is a recreational sport with the focus to learn the
basic rules of football and emphasizes running, catching and
throwing. Registration usually begins at the end of February
with the season beginning at the end April and culminating at
the end of June. Games are played once a week and conclude with
a play off format for each division.
Players can register as individuals or as a team with a coach
and coaching clinics are available for anyone interested in
coaching a team.
